Whereas:
(1) CommissionRegulation(EC)No466/2001of8March2001
settingmaximumlevelsforcertaincontaminantsinfoodstuffs(2)
providesformaximumlimitsforcertainmycotoxinsincertain
foodstuffs.
(2) Samplingplaysacrucialpartintheprecisionofthedetermination
ofthelevelsofmycotoxins,whichareveryheterogeneously
distributedinalot.Itisthereforenecessarytofixgeneral
criteriawhichthesamplingmethodshouldcomplywith.
(3) Itisalsonecessarytofixgeneralcriteriawhichthemethodof
analysisshouldcomplywithinordertoensurethatcontrol
laboratoriesusemethodsofanalysiswithcomparablelevelsof
performance.
