Scope :

The present table has the scope of simplifying the indications that shall figure in the technical designs and stabilize the general tolerance for the linear and angular dimension without specific tolerance indications.
Stabilizes moreover the geometric tolerance generally applicable in the elements of the design without the indications of the specific tolerance.

General :

Whenever a specific tolerance is not indicated for a dimension including the finished surface and rough surface, the larger of the two general tolerances in consideration is applied.
